They said the memories, all play out, fade out, all played out...

There's still snow everywhere in the land of Caerphilly. I feel the cold so easily so have been wrapping up to the maximum, not really a good look! My lecture was cancelled today so luckily didn't have to leave my cosy home. I have been meaning to get back into the gym this week (seems I didn't have any time last week with my project deadline) but the thought of going out into the cold to go work out isn't making me jump off the settee! I will go tomorrow though, and make myself stay for two hours to make up for my laziness!

A few parcels came today; one from Newlook and another from a wholesale jewellery shop that I buy from. Will do a post tomorrow to go into more detail and to show you what I've bought. Today I've decided to do a musical post seems it's been a few weeks since I've done one and there is some more new wicked music out at the moment; so here is my top six tracks of the moment...

Album cover for The Defamation of Strickland Banks

1. Gorillaz Featuring Daley - Doncamatic
2. The Naked and Famous - Punching in a Dream
3. Ellie Goulding - Your Song
4. Kings of Leon - Pyro
5. Rihanna Featuring Drake - What's My Name
6. Plan B - Love Goes Down

All AMAZING songs! Gorillaz is a 'band' that I can never get sick of. I like their style of music and the way it's different to what else is out there. I can't get this tune out of my head and Daley is weirdly good looking in the video! The Naked and Famous are a new discovery for me, but if this catchy song is anything to go by I will be back tracking their previous songs. Their style of music kind of reminds me of Crystal Castles but a softer pop version. Ah Ellie Goulding, seriously what a gorgeous voice and does this Elton John song justice. It makes me feel wintery, I just love it! Kings of Leon can't go wrong in my eyes, this song is slightly slowed down compared to others they have released off their new album but still has the same wicked guitar which I love. Rihanna & Drake's song has a slight more weekend vibe than the others I have chosen but just so catchy! Plan B has come such a long way with his music, I have much love for this new track, so powerful! I've linked the song images to youtube so you can check out the songs if you haven't heard them already, enjoy!
