After an embarrassing episode where my flip flops broke whilst walking through Newport town after uni' yesterday, I decided that it's time to pack away my beloved summer footwear! I couldn't believe that these were just £15 full priced so with my student discount on top they were a total bargain. I don't normally go for black flats as they just remind me of fugly school shoes but it seems that I'll just have to get over it!

Although they look good for the price, I think I may have found out why they are so cheap. I wore these to university today & my feet are in bits! Maybe breaking them in on a day where I'd be on my feet for 9 hours wasn't the best of ideas! I'm hoping they soften up pretty quickly as they look amazing with leggings, sheer shirts & my leather jacket. These are my first instalment to my winter footwear collection. I'm hoping to take advantage of Topshop's 20% student discount this weekend & treat myself to some Allegra's, yay! What are your winter footwear essentials?...

PS Sorry for the inconsistent blogging this week! With it being my first week back at uni' & straight after my holidays, I'm a bit up in the air. I have loads of posts in mind but by the time I get home from university it's too dark to take photographs & I'm, for lack of a better word, pooped!

I'm a big lover of super high heels. My obsession with shoes isn't quite as bad as my short fixation but I think it could be getting there! Most people have already noticed the major increase of gorgeous clothes on missguided.co.uk but I think the shoes are hugely over looked. It's fair to say that if I had the money to spare all of these shoes (and probably more!) would be mine! They have the majority of these styles in the traditional black & nude but I'm just loving bright, colourful everything at the moment! I know block colours aren't breaking news but I think the sunshine makes this trend so much more exciting. I'm thinking of treating myself next pay day but maybe choosing only one pair would be a little difficult? I think I'm probably swaying towards the pink or orange wedges, sooo pretty. Have any of you bought any shoes recently from missguided? Would love to hear your opinion on the quality, actual height & colour of these shoes before I do invest(:


I'm on a bit of a roll with bad luck at the moment. My most recent episode involved getting a lovely parking ticket after work yesterday! It's safe to say I was in a rather vile mood after that (hence not posting). I have managed to cheer myself up today though; as the wise Noah & The Whale sing 'LIFEGOESON'! I am really hopeful that that was the end of my unlucky streak, time for change and some good luck me thinks! Have any of you guys suffered from unfortunate luck lately?...

I haven't been on a proper shopping spree in about two months now due to being a skint student. This zero bank balance enforced shopping ban has resulted in me constructing rather large shopping lists in my mind every time I see something pretty! I think I've already mentally spent next months wage & student loan about 276 times! My latest out of reach clothing crush has come in the form of these amazing Jeffery Campbell Lita Booties..

Now, if like me you're a little bit addicted to LOOKBOOK or tumblr you are probably well aware/sick of the sight of these shoes! But I just find them to be completely gorgeous and simply want to own a pair in every colour! The reality being that I'd be lucky to own ONE pair seems they come with a £100+ price tag and selling out almost everywhere! I don't think I can choose my favourite out of my picks above; I melt a little when I see them, a true shoe crush! The boyf' & mother hate them, they think they look like something off the Grinch!? Surely I can't be alone in thinking 'I NEED A PAIR NOW!!", what do you guys make of them? I will follow this post with my favourite 'Lita' looks but will leave it until tomorrow, three posts in one day is pushing a bit I think!ha.
