Due to my uni' session being cancelled today I finally got chance to take some outfit pictures, yay! It is the most miserable, foggy day today so I had to turn the flash on to take these photos, not 100% happy with them but it's a start I suppose! This is the typical sort of thing that I usually wear to uni; simple, comfy + warm! Weirdly, I tend to wear more dresses + skirts in the winter months as I'm yet to find a pair of boots that look nice with my skinny jeans, I'm so fussy! As you can see by the description my spending ban has made me dig out quite a few bits that I bought last winter but I've updated them by layering this mint H&M jumper on top! I have had so many compliments on this jumper and it looks a lot more expensive than £20. The only down side, it moults like crazy! This chiffon dress is the only thing I can pair it with that doesn't have me de-fluffing myself every ten minutes!

Hola! Finally found a corner of my room that works okay for outfit photo's yay! The quality isn't quite perfect but I can work on that! This is just a throw together, casual outfit that I wore to Nando's the other night. I like getting a little dolled up so the boyfriend warned me to tone it down a bit!ha, I wore this with my trusty black leather biker + zara messenger bag.

I bought this t-shirt the other week when the weather was nice, it was on promo', 2 for £6, so picked up a couple just to throw on. It's kinda thin (hello black bra!) but for that price what can you expect! I'm still obsessing with this colour, can't help but purchase anything if it's mint! This may cause a problem on payday Friday! It's been one of those month's where payday has taken agesss to come around; I'm trying my hardest to save but have already booked in for a brow shape, hair cut + have several online baskets ready for checkout! Must maintain will power!!

HEART OF GOLD

Gold Flecked Jumper - H&M
High Waisted Jeans - River Island
Watch + Bracelets - ASOS

Happy Valentine's Day! I know it's a silly, Americanised day to make the lads out there buy over priced cards + flowers but I secretly love it deep down!ha.. I woke up to a gorgeous bouquet of roses + having dinner cooked for me tonight by the beloved, I certainly don't see what the hate campaign on Valentine's day is all about!

Actually in love my jumper from H&M! It's perfectly baggy, comfy yet smart! I've literally lived in these high waisted jeans since I purchased them a few weeks ago, they feel like leggings on + are so flattering! Tempted to buy another pair for when these stretch out, so obsessed! Anyway I'm off to pick up a bottle of bubbly + a blockbuster DVD, the boyf's + I two year anniversary tomorrow, bless us!aha.. Hope you all have lovely evenings!

I'VE LOVED AND I'VE LOST

Dress - Topshop Sale
Rings - H&M and Topshop
Tights - Primark
Leather Jacket - River Island (last year)
Boots - River Island
Lipstick - Loud Lips Baby Doll

I'm cheating a little as this is what I wore to university Friday (I haven't changed out of my pj's today, slob!). It was a lovely sunny morning so I couldn't resist taking a couple of outfit pictures! I picked up this dress in Newport's Topshop Clearance Outlet (brilliant for picking up the odd bargain!) for a cheap + cheerful £18! I don't think I own anything quite this pink! I bought it for my works night out but had outfits like this in mind when purchasing it. Going to have to invest in some more 'skater' dresses I think! I feel like I'm settling into my style a little more lately, love love love winter fashion; especially my Chelsea boots!

I'm kind of addicted to Drake's new album, in particular the song quoted in the title Take Care. It samples Jamie XX's remix of Gil Scott-Heron track I'll Take Care of You which is what makes me love this song so much! I can't stop singing it! Hopefully going out with my girls this weekend + really can't wait to have a drunken dance to this song!

Got a busy fortnight coming up; mostly filled with university work (lots of deadlines looming) but also have a lot of fun things to do from Christmas parties, Topshop Christmas shopping night, Clothes Show Live, an Ann Summers party, photo shoot for my current project and I've probably forgotten other events! Gotta love having things to look forward to(:

Took a little time to make it a little better...

Blouse - Peacocks
Waistcoat - Newlook
Jeans & shoes - River Island
Rings - H&M, Topshop & MOLYNEUXOXO
HYPE!

I received a letter a few weeks ago explaining that I had won a two awards for my work last year in my Comprehensive school. It was no biggy really but I've never won anything before so have been quite excited/nervous! As per I also was faffing about what to wear! It was an awards ceremony on one hand but only in our community school so didn't want to be over or under dressed. The trials of being a girl aye!

Again I don't know what's up with my camera, sometimes the photographs are crystal clear then other times they come out like this! Anyways this is what I ended up wearing last night. I bought this blouse a few months ago and only worn it a few times, I bought it when I had a 40% off voucher in Peacocks so only cost me about £9! It is sheer, so for this school event I wore a nude vest underneath, but when I wore it to the pub on the weekend I just wore it with a black bra (cheeky). The waistcoat is basically my staple wardrobe piece, you may have noticed it a few times already! The jeans are officially my works jeans but fit too well to only wear them to work, may have to invest in a second pair. The shoes are also my faithfuls, got them for £12.50 in the River sale last year, defo' got my monies worth out of them! I'm loving the multi ring look at the moment but sadly these few are succumbing to the inevitable copper rust, boo! The outfit is pretty basic overall but; I was comfortable, neither under or over dressed and I think it kind of showed that I was a fashion student, RESULT! It's my last day in uni' today before the Easter holidays so better get my head down. Might post a cheeky little wish list after the gym, so until then...
