But you seem pretty young to be searching for that kind of fun...

Anyone who keeps up with the trends will be able to tell you that 2011 SS catwalks have been littered with inspiration from the 70's. As the saying goes trends 'always come back around' and I am loving the sexiness that it brings this time around. The keys piece's that are making their way onto the high street at the moment need an air of confidence to pull off. The high platform shoes, flared trousers and floppy felt hats all have a Studio 54 vibe.

Topshop - Yellow silk blouse £70, Topshop - Leather flower wrist band £10, River Island - Print wedge sandal £69.99, Topshop - Denim hotpants £26, Topshop - Camel felt hat £25, H&M - Gold stone ring £3.99, Topshop - pleated wide leg trousers £48.

These are my picks to carry off the boho luxe vibe without feeling like a total hippy! I love the floral, floaty feel that these pieces have. This is only one way to include the seventies into your wardrobe, you could also add a skinny belt or a pussy bow blouse to a pair of high waisted trousers to give you the disco glam feel! I have bought a few garments to add the vintage style to my wardrobe but unfortunately no outfit posts will be able to take place until Wednesday due to a few home improvements which are taking place! What's your favourites seventies items in store at the moment?

Let's not let our hearts get in the way...

As I mentioned in my previous post I treated myself to some new beauty products from elf. I read a few beauty blogs that mention the brand and decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the low prices and ordered with my mum and sister so we could take advantage of the free shipping offer (minimum spend £30). I haven't really done much this weekend so yet to try out the make-up but I decided to give myself a manicure with my new nail varnish. I go through phases with nail varnish, at the moment I don't like to wear anything bright or in your face. I prefer to stick to my nudes and pastels. One colour that I've been lusting over for a while is the Chanel Pearl Drop polish. Being a student I would no way find paying around £20 for a nail varnish reasonable! I was quite excited when I seen this Pearl colour (£1.50) on the elf website. The photo' above makes it look almost white but the one below gives a truer insight.

I wear false nails as mine are stumps no matter how hard I try to grow them!): This image shows my falsies with two layers of the varnish on them. It's a little streaky up close IRL but unnoticeable from a distance. To quickly sum up...

PRO'S - A bargain at £1.50 a bottle! Chic bottle, almost Chanel-esque? Thick enough to wear one coat if a light colour is wanted.

CONS - Brush strokes can be faintly seen when looking close up, this may be because of the pearly appearance.

So overall this nail varnish is definitely worth the £1.50 price tag! If you're a nail varnish fanatic then there might be some colours on the site to add to your collection, if you're just a casual wear (like me) then these are perfect to slap on your nails when you get spare time!

Looks are deceiving making me believe it...

(apologise for the black and grey photo's, want to keep the items a secret for future posts!)

Since I had the second instalment of my student loan at the beginning of January I've been really good and hardly touched it, except for the necessities like petrol and parking. This all changed today. Me, my mum and sister had a bit of a family shopping trip to Cardiff and it was quiet sucessful in my eyes! I scoured the internet last night and found a few things that I really wanted but resigned to the fact that I either wouldn't be able to find them or they wouldn't be in my size, but for a change my luck was in! This resulted in me having quite the hoard when I intended on just window shopping, it's the way it always goes isn't it! I also received my elf order! This is the first time I've ordered off this site and with such good prices I hope the products live up to my expectations! I'm excited to share these new goodies with you via outfit posts and reviews (yay the blogging might start picking up again!), after I have a nice chilled out weekend of course!

We could have had it all...

Had yet another busy day today; hair cut, toiling and work! I was nearly brave and had a Fearne Cotton but I backed out last minute; I will have it done next time when my hair is a little longer, maybe. As I've been making the mock up for my dress today I haven't had time to do anything else, it seems like ages since I've done an outfit post, not good! Seems the toiling took up most of my day, I thought I'd share my progress with you.

You can see from these photographs my journey so far from pleating the bust, cutting the shape and the start of the skirt. My inspiration is crystals and rock forms. We also have to look at the insides of garments for inspiration too, hence the seams on the outside. I still have a while to go before it's finished but I'll keep you posted(:

Open up my eager eyes...

To begin I would like to give a big thanks to the support I've received from my previous post, it really does mean a lot(: We're all doing well and trying our best to get back to our normal, well as normal as we can! It's been a long day for me, uni' from 10am until 5:30pm, this is the longest day I've had in a while! I got to start toiling though which helped a lot as our deadline is two weeks Friday! Tomorrow is my day off and I'm going to perk myself up by getting my hair done. I'm going for the usual highlights this time but determined to have something different done next; I'm thinking ombre (dip dyed)! My fav' celebrity rocking this style at the moment has got to be Fearne Cotton.

Images Google

Her hair is exactly what I want mine like. Not long but not short and a natural looking dipped effect. I'm going to show the photo's to my hairdresser tomorrow to see what she suggests. I hope she doesn't say just keep growing your roots (the current state of them isn't a good look)! I would like the same colouring as it matches Fearne's dark eyes well (I do wear more fake tan than her though in all fairness!). I'll probably need extensions to thicken up my natural hair; I usual clip in the strips but would like to try the individual bonds but not sure if they'll thin out my hair even more. Anyone tried them before?

And pray to god he hears you...

I have only posted a few times this week as our family was hit by some bad news. We found out this Thursday evening that my dad has AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia). This has easily been the hardest week of my life. I'm not writing this post for sympathy and as I'm writing I'm thinking it's a little too personal but I've learnt a few things this week which really make me think. My dad is currently at the University Hospital of Wales which is an unbelievably big, learning hospital in Cardiff. When my dad arrived he had to have 4 pints of blood as his red blood cell count was dangerously low. He was then told that at one point last year the hospitals blood supply run out and they had a total of 4 bags of blood left for the whole hospital. When he repeated this to me it shocked me completely. I can't count the number of times I have driven past a blood drive and not even thought to go in and donate. Now I said this post wasn't about sympathy but I am trying to get some support, not for me or my family but for organisations such as The National Blood Service. I am totally terrified of needles and feel faint when I have blood tests! But I'm determined to go donate blood. The sad thing is that something this awful shouldn't have urged me to go do it. Yes I'm not a fan of needles but your body can reproduce the given blood so quickly and the chances are you could be saving someones life! The main reason why I'm posting on here is the chance that someone might read this and feel inspired to do something for themselves and others! (check me networking!ha) If you live in the UK I have linked the website in this post and at the top of my page where you can find your nearest blood drive. If I can get out of Uni' on time, I will be making my first donation tomorrow, wish me luck...

But he doesn't know who I am...

Brian Atwood VS River Island

It was quiet in work this evening so I had the chance to look at some of the new shoe's we've had in recently and I must say that the majority scream the name of footwear designer Brian Atwood! Atwood is fast becoming the name behind some of the must have heels, providing Louboutin some stiff competition. From the heel silhouette, the colour palette and the studded detailing there are definitely some visual similarites (there is a slight difference in price tag though!)! What do you guys think?

Molyneuxoxo

I know I need this sweet sensation...

1. Goldhawk Road tube station   2. Rolls of fabric in one of the many stores   3. Passing Liberty   4.Reels of hooks and eyes in Kleins   5. Reels of cotton in D.M. Buttons   6. Tower Bridge   7. Outside the Design Museum

Sorry for being a bit MIA the past couple of days, things have been not stop! Yesterday I paid little ol' London town a visit with the uni' guys to buy fabrics and trimmings for our current project. We firstly visited Goldhawk Road where there is at least 10 fabric shops which line either side of the road, they all compete with each other for the best priced cloth which helps when looking for a bargain! Sadly I couldn't find any silver fabrics which match my brief so left there empty handed. We then made our way to Berwick Street (where we passed Liberty and...) where my search improved; I found silver bias binding and other detailing which will fit in with my designs perfectly. In search of more trimmings, we came across a hidden workshop which I managed to buy some bespoke shoulder pads! With the shopping done we made our way to the Design Museum over Tower Bridge to see the fashion illustration exhibit. It was hard work fitting all that in to the six hours we had in London but was definitely worth it! Today I am completely wiped out! I spent all of this morning sat in the doctor's waiting room and now I am going to try and finish off my essay before work this evening, on a bit of a downer compared to yesterday!

We're dancing like we're dumb, our bodies going numb...

Last night I went to Tiger Tiger for the first time on a night out! It had a really good night and tried something new with my outfit as well. I did, as predicted, buy something new to wear but it was in the sale so I think I get an A for effort! My style inspiration for my Saturday night look was inspired by Gossip Girl character Jenny Humphrey (not to be confused with actress Taylor Momsen who plays the part, who's fashion choices leave little to the imagination!). I was watching Gossip Girl one evening last week and one 'Jenny Humphrey' look in particular caught my eye from the 'Hurt Locket' episode...

I love everything; the blonde up-do, the shimmery, smokey eyes and the way that the pink lips pop against the sheer, black of the dress. I didn't have time to take any proper photo's of my outfit but a few have appeared on Facebook so here is my interpretation...

(This is after we starting on the jugs of sex on the beach, hence the thumb orb in the top right corner!)

The dress was in the River Island sale and I got it for £15! It had a few buttons going down the front so I quickly unpicked them before leaving. I don't really do dangly earring's and these feathered ones are my only pair! I might do an outfit post in the week to show it off properly as I think it worked really well!  I have a serious crush on Jenny's style, going to watch some more Gossip Girl episodes to get more inspiration (any excuse aye!)...

P.S. I love the song which I've titled this post with, (Ke$ha - We R Who We R) serious party tune!

'Cause everyday ought to be a bad day for you...

Okay so I just impulse bought a tailors dummy. Not your usual impulse buy but I've been lusting after one for a while. I bought a bit of a bargain basement one off eBay for £42 (the ones I have been looking at have ranged from £370-£900!), the measurements are a few inches bigger than the ones we use in university but I'm sure it'll come in handy seems our project has to be in three weeks Monday! I was aiming to load up an outfit post today but I had a spray tan earlier and am all tacky, ergh! Love having an all over tan though as I'm usually lazy and just put some on my face, chest and arms (shame!). I'm having another quiet Friday night in but tomorrow night I'm going to Tiger Tiger where we have our own room booked out with karaoke and our own private dance floor (check us)! Dilemma time, I don't know what to wear! I didn't want to buy a new outfit as I have loads of going out clothes that I've worn once, I think it's time to raid the wardrobe and style something old to look like something new. I think that's wishful thinking as I'll more than likely splurge on something new tomorrow after work, I have no will power when it comes to to shopping! The two photo's in this post are the shoe's that I mostly wear on a night out (they're in black and white as the light in my bedroom isn't the best and made the shoe's look horrible!). I got a thing for big heels but as I'm 5'7 I usually tower above my friends! I haven't been to Tiger Tiger before and am not entirely sure what is the standard dress code? Any experienced Tigers that would like to share their wisdom?

Molyneuxoxo

Now it's getting hotter, oh, it's only getting sweeter...

I badly want a new tattoo and this was a little Photoshop experiment to see what the one I want would look like! I want a black and grey rose tattoo and have wanted it for some time. I keep changing my mind of where to have it which is putting me off booking it. I would like it on the inner side of my fore-arm but my dad gets all parental on me saying "Do you really think that tattoo will still look nice when you're wearing wedding dress?!", which sadly sticks in my mind when I think deeply about it! I then thought about having it on my hip but as I already have writing going down the back of my neck I think it would be too much. So the place I settle on is my foot. Some people pull of the tattooed look well (Fearne Cotton, Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Rihanna, to name a few) but I just don't know if I'm one of those people? I'd hate to spend £70 a hour to have it done and live to regret it! Might see if I can find a similar transfer to give it a trial run! What do you guys think?

Remember when you were young, you'd lose yourself...

Headband - Newlook
Cardigan - River Island
Vest - Topshop
Necklace - eBay
Trousers - River Island
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

This is what I wore to uni' today! The photo's are a little worse than usual sorry, I don't know why, might be because I'm soooo tired (Excuses, excuses aye!)! I haven't really worn anything like this to university before, I usually stick to skinny jeans, ankle boots and a cardi'. However this was a nice change! I bought the headband yesterday on my shopping trip (one of the only things I bought but we'll get onto that!), it's from New Look and a bit of a bargain at £2.99! The cardi' and vest are kind of my old faithfuls, they're easy to just chuck on and go with so many things! The trousers are one of my sale buys from Saturday they were £20 and something totally new to me, I can't wait to pair them in different outfits to see what they go with! The dolly shoe's were also a bit of steal as they were £5 in the Outfit sale! Bargain! They could substitute the leopard print loafers on my wish-list so looks like the tan ones are mine!

So as I mentioned my shopping trip yesterday wasn't most satisfying and I'm disappointed to say that I didn't really get anything off my wish-list! I think I'll stick to online shopping from now on, I seem to find more things I like on the 'net! I did find a blazer I wanted bad in H&M which was different to the one on my wish list and only £15! But I have a playsuit which I had for Christmas to exchange and forgot to take it with me! Might pop into town on Sunday and remember to take the playsuit this time, I will get that blazer! Cardiff is normally pretty good for shopping but nothing really caught my eye. Disappointing seems I actually have money to spend on clothes, it's always the way! A quiet night is on the cards for me as the first week back to uni' has totally drained me! Will post tomorrow explaining my weekend plans and clothes dilema...

Every time you lose it sing it for the world...

I intended on posting this last night but my internet was down, grr! I had to post it now as I'm off shopping in five minutes (I'm no where near ready and on here, whoops!) to hopefully get my first haul of 2011. I posted this before I went shopping as I just wanted to show you my Polyvore collage before I went. I've re-edited this post now to explain why I want these pieces...

1. Turquoise Branch Claw Ring - Topshop, £10 - I have a thing for statement rings and the colour of the stone in this ring is just awesome! I will get a ring this colour be it from Topshop or not! 2. White Silk Military Pocket Shirt - Topshop, £45 - The fashion forecasts for Spring 2011 state that the white shirt will be the must have garment. I like this Topshop one as it has the long sleeves, crisp collar and the pocket detail which is set to be the trend for the coming season. 3. Black Feather Trilby Hat - Topshop, £25 - Hats have been 'in' for a while but I'm not really a hat person, I feel a bit awkward looking in them! I'm determined to defeat this obstacle this month and invest in a trilby or bowler hat! 4. Light Brown Tassel Loafers - River Island, £29.99 - It's time to step away from winter boots and slowly transition into something different. I think these loafers do it for me! 5. Khaki Jumpsuit - River Island, £44.99 - I vowed not to buy another playsuit/jumpsuit after the nightmares over Christmas of having to try and get in and out of them when needing the toilet on a night out! This one however may be an exception! I love the colour, the cut and that it fits just above the ankle, want! 6. Tobacco Knitted Turban Headband - ASOS, £10 - I love these little knitted headbands and the colour of this is just gorgeous. Just hope they suit my face shape! 7. Leopard Print Bow Shift Dress - River Island, £39.99 - On the website this dress is organised in the day-dress section but I want this for a night out! I think the shape would be flattering and it would be different to what most people would be wearing. 8. Leopard Print Tassel Loafer - River Island, £36.99 - These loafers would be an alternative to the tan coloured ones. I like that they are casual and would go with most outfits! 9. Light Terracotta Jacket - H&M, £29.99 - I really want a blazer but think it would be tempting fate buying one as it's still freezing cold in Wales at the moment. I would like one in black to wear on nights out and this colour for the day time. 10. Beige Lock Stitch Purse - River Island, £16.99 - I am in desperate need for a new purse as I've had the one I got for a longgg time now! I like most purses they have in River Island so would be happy with any actually! 11. Khaki Slouchy Tee - Miss Selfridge, £16 - I need tops like this to add to my wardrobe as I've been buying a lot of trousers, skirts and shorts lately and need basic tee's to wear them with. I think this colour could be worn with a lot of my clothes.

My wardrobe for 2011 will consist of; tailored piece's such as shirts, blazers and trousers, pastel colours particularly mint and light terracotta and womanly pieces including long skirts and detailed with lace, tassels and ruffles. Pfft I wish aye!

In such an ugly world, something so beautiful...

Today was the first day of Spring term in University. Man am I glad to be back! I realised I got seriously lazy over Christmas, okay yes I made a big dent in my essay but it doesn't compare to being in full swing going to lectures, attending technical demonstrations, etc. Today was also the first day in our new city centre campus, I looove it! It's modern, new and actually feels like an university compare to the old, dingy campus we were in in Allt-Yr-Yn. I didn't take any photo's of the building itself but snapped a few pic's from the draping session we did. We had one meter of calico material to play with and to try and make a draped garment. This is my first attempt at this technique so be nice...

Attempt One - Cowl neck dress - Didn't really know what I was doing so just had a go of pining the material to the dummy!
Attempt Two - Sweetheart neckline dress - I pleated the sweetheart shape and liked the effect it produced, this shape is a little too classic though and I think I will develop this technique to something more interesting.
(As you can see in the background we are on the top floor of the open plan building and have a lovely view of the river!)

The pleated bust up close.
The pleated bust with the top un-pined, I liked this at first then decided it look too much like a mermaid dress or something!

Second attempt at the pleated bust

So this is as far as I got in the session and I'm liking the way it's going! I feel a little weird posting my work on here as it is personal, well personal in a different way to my outfit posts. Just wanted to share today's work with you guys as I'm excited to get back into it! Might wait until I've got a final design and a finished toile before I post about it again? Anyways, what do you think so far?

Whether it's black stars, black hearts, I'm feeling it...

Afternoon bloggers! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. Mine was a bit quiet in all fairness but I suppose a weekend in every now and again never hurt! It was payday Friday (finally!) and I treated myself to a few bits for putting up with being skinters for the past couple of weeks. I bought a few pieces from the sales but will save them for an outfit post as a photo' of them folded isn't very exciting! I didn't buy much from the sales this year; I don't know whether it's because I worked the sales and know what it's like on the other side or that they just weren't that good? Thankfully they are slowly disappearing from the shop floors making room for the new spring lines. Some have come into work already and I must say I'm liking what I see! I think I might write a post on my must buys for the season to act as my wishlist. These must buys might have to wait as I have made a considerable dent in my wage already (but student loan goes through tomorrow, woo!). A trip to Hobby Craft did not help this money matter either! I ended up treating myself to some new sewing necessities...

A sewing box! I've been needing a sewing box since I started uni' in October!  I've been using the glittery case that came with my GHD straighteners to hold all my sewing tools since starting. I mentioned needing one in my Christmas present post and now I have one that matches my cupcake pin cushion! I bought it for £35.99 (can't find it on the site to link it sorry!) which I think is worth it! I love the pink inside, ah I'm such a girl!ha. It's nice and clean and new and will stay that way!

A wrist pincushion! (excuse my dry, patchy skin!) I've been after one of these for ages but all the only one's I could find was in the form of tomato's! I then came across this when looking for a sewing box. I also treated myself to some new glass head pins which you can also see in the photo'. I'm pretty happy with my kit now but am going to London a week Tuesday so expect I will find something in the Morplan store that I will just need

I've been a little moany this week. First about my hair, (thanks for your comments btw!) and now my make-up! Not to worry though, I think I have found a resolution to this problem and will fill you in in a few days when my delivery comes! I'm going to go get myself prepped for my first day back to uni' now, have a nice evening...

Take a bite of my heart tonight...

Crop top - River Island
High Waisted Trousers - River Island
Bag - New Look

Happy Friday bloggers! These bank holidays are messing with my internal calender, it no way feels like a Friday! I've spend all day trying to finish off my essay, I've hit the word deadline now, just a little tidying up to do! (Thank goodness for that!) I'm full up with a cold so didn't feel like a proper outfit post today so will just share with you this kind of outfit photograph. I absolutely love this top! It's from River Island and by the in-store brand 'The FiFi Factory'. Again I got it in the last sale, I think I paid around £5 for it, I like how rocky the image of the mouth is! These peg leg trousers are an absolute god sent when you're having an 'off' day, they sit on your waist so hide anything you want to keep hidden! I bought these around october time and then they went into the sale so don't think they're in store either. I mentioned this bag quite a few posts back so here it is! It's not the most flattering image for it but as I said I'm not feeling the best today so take pity on me!ha.

As I'm feeling unwell I'm starting to feel a little fed up, especially with my style. I usually get like this every few months and it's normally down to my clothes. However this time I'm happy with my wardrobe but getting a little fed up with my hair! It's looks okay in the photo's I post onto here as I have my extensions clipped in but my natural hair is at a really awkward length. I started to grow out my bob early in the summer holidays and it isn't growing quick enough! My hair is just passing my shoulders now and I'm debating whether to keep growing it or to have it all chopped off again! I'm not going to do anything to it until I'm feeling better just incase it is just the cold talking! I'm fed up of feeling like my hair is going through an awkward stage! Anyone seen any nice hairstyles lately that would like to recommend? I'm open to all suggestions!

Are you free or are you tied up?...

Maxi Dress - River Island
Leather Jacket - River Island
Necklace - eBay

Two outfit posts in a row, wow I'm on a roll! I've been wanting to wear this dress for a while and only now got around to it! I bought it in the last River Island sale when every price was halved, I think it cost me around £4! It has long sleeves (forgot to take a piccy without the jacket sorry!) and just touches the floor. The jacket is also River Island. It's originally an aviator flight jacket but the shearling collar unbuttons which makes it like two jackets in one! The necklace was an impulse eBay purchase! The feathers are longer than I thought they'd be but I still like that it's so quirky! (My love for feathers and owls making an appearance again!) Got myself a nice set of love handles in the second pose, that's an end to the mince pies I think!ha.

Today I dragged my boyfriend to Cardiff Museum to check out the mineral and crystal exhibition. I got some good photo's and definitely found my inspiration, yay! Just got to sort though them all now, will share them with you guys if I come across any particularly interesting ones. Being in Cardiff without being able to shop was torture! I get paid tomorrow and my student loan goes in on Monday so this week has been the skintest ever! There are a few new pieces in the shops at the moment that I am dying to get my hands on. I have Wednesdays off so am planing on going shopping then, might do a wishlist before then to share with you what I'm hoping to buy but we'll see! I promised myself that I won't go shopping mad when my loan goes in as I did go a little crazy last time! Just want to pick up a few key pieces that will mix into my wardrobe easily! Anyone seen anything in the shops at the moment that have caught your eye?

P.S. A little note again to say that this outfit is also on lookbook!

You had my heart inside of your hand...

Batwing knitted top - Topshop
Suedette shorts - Miss Selfridge
Necklace - Newlook
Knee high socks - Primark
Ankle shearling boots - Newlook

Finally got around to doing an outfit post! It's been promised for a while and here it is! I probably chose the darkest, dingiest morning to take these photo's so did have to use the flash but I don't think they turned out that bad? This is the jumper that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas and I love it! It could work underneath a cardigan as well as on it's own, love that it's so versatile! These are the suedette shorts that I mentioned a while ago. I have only worn them once on a night out with a black vest, knee high black sheer socks and black booties. I think I like this casual look more though! The neutral tones blend together quite nicely in my opinion. I'm keeping my eye out for a neon pink blazer which I think would carry these shorts into next season nicely! I think I might also invest in a pair of creamy knitted tights to wear this outfit with whilst it's still chilly out!

I think my outfit post are slowly getting better! I've used Photoshop to blend the two images together for the main but haven't altered anything else. I've noticed fashion bloggers say about not using flash but I think it works better for me as I think the images are sharper and the colours are more accurate! I've also given my extensions a bit of trim as they were getting a bit scraggy, boo! I'm thinking of making them a little shorter, what do you guys think? I've got to go get some designer research done before work now, exciting I know! Leave me your thoughts to read for when I get back?

P.S. This outfit post is also on Lookbook if you wanna check it out!(:

I ain't meant to be here, I'm meant to be free...

A short and sweet post for today which will be made up for tomorrow, I promise. I've spent basically the whole day sorting out my university work, as you can see from the photographs above, (just a quick apology for the poor quality photographs, I took them on the iPhone quick being lazy and editing them was the only answer!) I've been trying to make a proper start on my essay, I'm now 1,300 words down! Hence the reason why my heart isn't in writing my usual lengthy post. It took a serious amount of effort and concentration but it's done now.  I was a bit panicky yesterday about the amount of work that had built up but all that I needed to do was take a step back and get myself organised. Back on track now, I think! I've also got the hang of using Adobe Illustrator, well kind of! I can actually draw a shape that somewhat resembles a fashion figure, now just to learn how to draw garments! Why I left it until the week before I start back I will never know, or probably never learn!

As I mentioned I'm still to make an official start to my new practical project so have arranged to pay Cardiff Museum a visit on Thursday with the boyfriend. I'm stuck between looking at flowers or minerals for inspiration! I don't really want to look at flowers because I do bore of them easily and tend to turn to them as they're easy, so I'm hoping that the 'Crystals and Minerals of Wales' exhibit inspires me enough to stray from my bad habit! Our project is all about hidden beauty so also have to look inside of vintage clothing to see if we can find any hidden and forgotten garment construction techniques. I'm yet to find anything inspirational as of yet but am visiting London on the 18th January so Brick Lane will be hit hard! I'm happy that I'm now starting to get interested in my work again as I was so totally wiped out from my last project at the end of the Christmas term. I'm not exactly feeling refreshed as I have a bit of flu but I certainly feel better about my next project! Anyone else getting back into uni' mode after a long Christmas break?
