WANT: SPRING MINT PASTELS

It seems like Spring Summer trends are being thrust upon us from all angles at the moment, but I'm feeling really reluctant to part with my winter wardrobe just yet! I don't know whether it's to do with the Arctic weather conditions we've been having or sheer laziness but I'm yet to buy into any of this summers trends! As a bit of a compromise with myself + so that I don't end up with draws full of knitwear + black clothing come summer, I have decided that it is about time that I start introducing some key pieces into my wardrobe! Out of the many SS trends seen on the catwalks, the pastel colour palette is one that caught my eye. There was a million other items that I could of crammed into this wish list but I think these few items could easily be worn with items I already own + fit in nicely with my current style..

001. Aqua Lace Skater Dress - River Island, 002. Lace Scalloped Top - Newlook, 003. Lace Trim Ankle Socks - Topshop, 004. Crochet Slouchy Jumper - Newlook, 005. Erika Glasses - Ray-Ban, 006. Mint Twist Handle Bag - Topshop, 007. Sleeveless Shirt - Topshop, 008. Skinny Belt - Topshop, 009. Feathered Earrings - Newlook.

I am really loving this minty shade + think it's a versatile colour that will easily mix in with my mostly monochrome wardrobe. I love the slouchy Newlook Jumper + think it would look amazing with black high waisted jeans now + Levi cut offs in the summer. I'm going shopping tomorrow + am going to keep my eye out for a mint colour jumper that I can wear on top of a white shirt with the collar peeping out, on trend yet still nice + cosy! I picked up the Topshop handbag when in London + almost bought it but the fact that it hasn't got zip put me off, if I see it tomorrow I might not be able to resist! All in all I think all of these could easily add a little pop of SS to anyone's wardrobe or if you're on a budget pastel toned nail varnish is always an winner!
