Well iya strangers! I can't believe it's been a whole two months since I last posted; I have been so busy with university work I literally don't know where this year has gone! Summer's-a-coming & I didn't even notice being wrapped up in my little bubble! My wardrobe is still full of chunky knits, black skinny jeans and chelsea boots meaning I have zero to wear on beautiful days like today. I wasn't really overwhelmed with the summer trends this year but maybe now we're having the weather some items will catch my picky eye!

I finished university Friday which means I can finally ditch the student title! It's been three long, hard years as anyone who's studied a degree will agree but no one will know the true extent like my fellow fashion peers! I put my heart, soul & bank account into my course & in four weeks time I'll know whether it was all worth it, scary! It doesn't feel like the end quite yet as I still have my graduate showcase & Graduate Fashion Week to attend at the beginning of June. The outfit panics have already begun! We're hoping to make the most of the days at the exhibition & the nights in the big city if anyone has any recommendations of places to eat, bars, etc? We've already been eyeing up the ICEBAR for one nights activities but suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This has probably been one of the toughest weeks of my life in more ways than one. I have a severe on going case of bad luck that seems to pop up whenever things are going too well. But being a positive person it only makes me stronger & I am so fuelled to make something of myself now I have a perfect chance of a fresh start. I am an ambitious twenty-one year old with a degree, the world at her feet & exciting times ahead!

February has well + truly run away with us; I can't believe it's the first of March Friday, craaazy stuff! I've had a nice couple of weeks, even if I've probably spent a little too much time doing my own thing + not spending enough time doing university work, oopsie! As you can see from the images above, I've gone brunette! Bit of a change to the dark blonde + super bleach ombré that I was sporting a few weeks ago but I'm slowly getting used to it. My hair grows so slow I thought I'd give it a helping hand + lay off the bleach tones just while it gets past the awkward-shoulder-length-stage which it's been at for years now! I'm going to just leave it be for the time being + hopefully get some natural honey toned highlights put through it come Easter! Gosh us girls can blab on about our hair eh?!

It's been a weird, long old week filled with ups + unfortunately some downs. Monday night, my boyfriend + I attended our first concert of 2013! We went to see Plan B in the Motor Point Arena in Cardiff! I wasn't too fussed on the newer, grimey stuff but rekindled my love for his Strickland Banks album, so many good songs! Our fave Labrinth was also supporting so all in all we had a really good night. Wednesday I was back up in London on yet another unsuccessful fabric shopping trip. It was a right miserable day; Megabus problems + bitter weather, make a grumpy Charlotte!

I finally got to spend some time with my friends Friday. We all got dolled up + attended the Tiger Tiger Jewel bar launch, sore heads all around Saturday! Seeing has I had a rare weekend off work; it couldn't be spent feeling sorry for myself so my boyfriend + I ventured to the shops where I picked up some bargains + a vanilla cooler, saviour! I've not got a lot planned for this week except a family meal + lots of uni work! No plans for Valentine's Day as of yet but hopefully we will be spending the weekend in Birmingham which will be worth waiting for.

I think I've come to the decision that if I want my hair to grow (which I really, really, reeeally want to happen!) I think I'm going to have to get rid of my bleached ends boo! I also think it's time to move on from the dip-dye look as everyoneee seems to have it as of late! Last night when I was watching 'Take Me Out; The Gossip' (I'm a wild one I know!) I came to the conclusion that I need Zoe Hardman's hair! However, looking at it lined up next to my current colour it might be a bigger change than I thought, wah! I'm such a baby; to go for it or not hmmm...

I'm finally a free woman wooo, well, for a week or so while my work gets graded! I had a few hand-ins earlier last week; my research book, competitions, three toiles, portfolio and critical paper, such a huge weight of stress shifted! For those interested I'm studying Fashion Design at Newport University, I'm in my third and final year so the work you can see above contributes to my final collection, eep so scary! I stuggled my through second year as I kind of lost my way and lost sight of who I am as a designer. The truth is I'm not really a crazy, contemporary designer; I can't see myself making wacky dresses made from meat or hair or perspex bubbles that produce steam or contain crazy electrics, but I've come to realise that that's okay. I'm more real, I like to think I can design beautiful garments for real women. My final collection is an evening wear collection inspired by the style + glamorous vibe of the 1920's, the focal point is manipulated lace which is inspired by ornate ceilings. Now that all this work has been handed in, when I go back I'll be concentrating on making my garments which I'm quite looking forward to!

These next two weeks are being dedicated to getting myself back to feeling like myself, I'm really no good when I'm stressed! I've already half de-cluttered my bedroom resulting in throwing away SEVEN bin bags of rubbish, crazy! Next on my to-do list is my wardrobe, horrible task!ha, once it's done I'm going to be listing a load of stuff on eBay so will link it up when I've gotten round to it! I might also do a sort of room tour post as my room is finally starting to look like I pictured it when I had it decorated almost 2 years ago! Other than that this week I plan on re-newing my gym membership, catching up with my friends and taking a trip to London to get my final fabrics! Ooh and of course getting back into blogging! I'm hoping to post on what I had for Christmas, my sale buys and maybe even give the layout a bit of a re-vamp, nice and fresh for a new year!

Hellooo, I can't believe it's been a whole month since the last time I blogged, naughty Charlotte! I'm really disappointed as I thought I was getting on a bit of a roll with regular posting and what not but sometimes life just catches up with you, sigh! No need to worry though; everything is back on track and I'm back to being a real happy bunny just in time for the festive season(:

I know the last post I did was an Instagram style post but they are the best way to have a bit of a catch up even though they look a little silly next to each other! I haven't had the most exciting of months; one visit to London for some uni' research, one trip to the cinema to see Twilight, two nips into town for some Christmas shopping, three wild nights in Butlins and an uncountable number of nights in trying to chip away at my mountain of university work! Okay so maybe not the most boring of months!ha.

I've really missed blogging and have had a wave of ideas for posts but the amount of uni' work that's due in after Christmas is putting a stop to my plans. I'm going to try and post a couple of times over the next couple of weeks but if I don't you know it's because I'm buried under a pile of dissertation and collection work):
