This time tomorrow I'll be on the plane getting closer + closer to the beautiful, blue Caribbean sea, ahhhh! This holiday has completely snuck up on me, I don't know where these past couple of weeks have gone! I've been a total anxious mess these past couple of days; not only am I trying to organise everything for holidays but it's my birthday + I start back to uni' not long after I get home, STRESS CENTRAL!

I've tried to be good when it comes to buying clothes for holidays as I won't really be able to wear much of it when I get back. On the other hand I've gone completely cosmetic crazy! Not only have I bought all new make up + haircare (it's all from Boots/Superdrug so I suppose it's not all that bad!), but I've also treated myself to a few salon treatments too, ooh the guilt! This will be my last post until I return so I'll see you all in a fortnight! Leaving rainy Wales for hurricane central, aka the Gulf of Mexico, typical!aha.

want; models own mirrorball

OMG, I got overly excited when I seen this image on my facebook feed this morning! New Models Own nail varnishes are exciting enough let alone a new glitter collection *girlish squeal*! I'm a true Models Own fan, I own countless bottles of their nail varnishes including all of their current glitters. MO describe these as;

"a completely unique glide-on glitter that will revitalise your entire polish collection! Wear alone or over your favourite colour polish to give a frosting finish, taking nails from boring to BLING! Each polish contains five different chunky colours of hand-cut glitter that are guaranteed to get the party started"

This collection consists of five colours; DISCO INFERNO: a glittery gold disco bomb, HOT STUFF: an intoxicating mix of pink and gold sparkles, FREAK OUT: a crystal shimmer mix of bold blue and purple, DANCING QUEEN: fabulous flecks of emerald, blue and gold + BOOGIE NIGHTS: a multicoloured mix of intriguing purple, pink and blue. Loving the Eighties inspired names!

The whole collection is going to the top of my birthday wishlist as I really couldn't pick just one! The collection exclusively goes on sale at the Models Own Bottleshop on September 6th then on the Models Own website from September 10th and finally in Boots stores from October 3rd! Will you be purchasing any of these beauties?
NB: This post isn't sponsored by Models Own I just have an unhealthy obsession with glitter nail varnishes!ha..

want; sequins + pearls

001. With my 21st birthday looming I'm on the hunt for the perfect night out dress! Ideally I want something major sparkly which will look amazing with my Mexican tan. I love this little Topshop number but slightly out of my price range seeing as I'm having two nights out, *sighhh*.

002. Love these cute sunnies! I'm quite concious of how glasses look on my face so a little iffy about ordering without trying them on.

003. I've been using the Collection Shimmer Shades palette in Way-To-Glow as a highlighter recently but one of the little squares cracked on the weekend, ruining it): I think I'm now ready to try a high-end product + this Nars highlighter seems to have rave reviews!

004. Embellished collars add a touch of glam to any outfit! This one is a little on the pricey side but inspiring, feel a DIY coming on!

005. I've been lusting after a Michael Kors watch for forever, this one is gorgeous + the colours are so different, NEEEEED!

pop beauty nail glam; pink popsicle

This pretty pink polish caught my eye as I was searching the Asos sale for some last minute holiday bit + bobs (it's back up to full price now for some strange reason!). I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect pink shade after reaching the bottom of my favourite bottle of Jessica Polish (RIP). I would buy it again in a heart beat if I was 100% sure of the colour name, boo!

Anywaaaay I have seen the brand POP Beauty on my blog roll quite a lot recently + have been dying to give them a try myself! I love the packaging, very similar to the AA Nail Polish bottles. The brush is quite narrow but long which makes application easy enough. I was quite disappointed with the thickness of the polish; I had to apply three coats to achieve a nice density although the finish is gorgeous + glossy! I painted my nails Friday night + still no chips in sight although I am wearing falsies! The colour is gorgeous, the perfect summery baby pink!

Overall I suppose it's worth the price if only for the colour! Models Own still are number one in my heart purely for the quality + value for money, very hard to beat! Next on my wish list from POP Beauty is their Confetti Glitz chunky glitter number! Have you tried any Nail Glam varnishes?

sunday post #019

messy curls; asos buys; drawing in the sun; relax time; pink pink pink; cwtchy day with the pup; two for tuesday; party games; geordie shore why aye; me + my girls; healthy lunch; night with the gals; vip vibes; props from the night before; hangover cure 101.

Okay so I'm a day late with this post but as I've been a little slack lately thought I'd do a 'Sunday Post' anyways! I haven't got an excuse for lack of posting, guess I'm just feeling a little uninspired in some sense. It's been a quiet couple of weeks with trying to save for holidays (17 days ahem) but I did manage to squeeze in a night out for my friend Sarah's birthday Saturday night.  After lots of pre-drinks, old school R&B + a game of 'Ring of Fire', we set off to Glam nightclub in Cardiff where Jay off of Geordie Shore was making a PA! We had such a good night but now it's time to start the serious holiday detox diet + get myself in order!

lush; catastrophe cosmetic face mask

LUSH catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask £5.95

Although I have bought a fair few fresh face masks from Lush I have only ever tried the Love Lettuce scrub out of them all! Seeing as I had 5 empty pots I had this face mask for free so thought I'd give something new a try. This mask is probably the complete opposite to Love Lettuce; it's soft, soothing, calming + smells delicious!

The main ingredients in this scrub are; fresh blueberries which are full of vitamins, minerals and are antioxidants, rose absolute and chamomile essential oil which reduce redness and irritation + finally calamine, Irish moss and talc which deep clean and soothe the skin at the same time.

The first time I used this mask I was pleasantly surprised at how silky soft it left my skin feeling. I only used a thin layer and it definitely reduced the redness in my blemishes + overall left my skin feeling refreshed + clean. I can see myself repurchasing this time + time again!
